meet dr. biavati

Dr. Michael Biavati has been in practice for more than 20 years and has earned the trust of colleagues throughout the Metroplex and beyond. He trained in otolaryngology at the University of Virginia and was a fellow in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa. He is also the former chairman of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Division at UT Southwestern and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

Dr. Biavati is well-known for his skill in surgery on newborns and infants, and especially for diagnosing and surgically treating laryngomalacia and tracheomalacia, or “noisy breathing.” Dr. Biavati’s colleagues often recommend him for his skill and thoroughness in diagnosing and treating children with complex genetic disorders.
